About Our Process
How much do you charge?
We understand that each building project is unique and has specific requirements, so we cannot provide a general estimate or quote based on square footage. Our pricing is tailored to meet the individual needs of each project and based on comparable prices in the Texas Panhandle region.
Is a deposit required for my project?
Although deposit requirements may vary based on the specific details of each project, typically we request 40% down payment to start construction. New Construction that is financed through an institution does not require an upfront deposit.
How long can I expect construction to take?
Similar to pricing, the timeline for each project depends on its unique characteristics. Simpler and smaller projects are often completed quicker than larger, more complex ones.
How long will it take to get me a price on my project?
We strive to provide you with a preliminary budget within ten days of our initial meeting for your project.
What areas do you service, and how far will you travel?
Our primary service area is the Texas Panhandle, including Amarillo, Canyon, Borger, Dumas, Hereford, Pampa, Canadian, and beyond. If you aren't sure if we serve your area, give us a call!

What types of projects do you specialize in?
At Caprock Design + Build, we specialize in designing and building custom homes that are tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. We also provide deep energy retrofits, additions, and remodeling services.
What kinds of projects do you NOT do?
We usually do not accept projects in which the customer is wanting to self perform any of the work. We also do not accept projects that aren't permitted or meet industry standards.
What sets you apart from other contractors in the industry?
There are several home builders and renovators in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle. But we prioritize quality craftsmanship and functionality over aesthetics, create living spaces that our clients will love living in, and constantly explore new ideas while staying within budget to provide unique and personalized solutions. We're also willing to travel to smaller towns in the Panhandle and don't only serve Amarillo.

Meet the Team
Jordan Duggan
Owner
Jordan, began his career in construction over 25 years ago. He has extensive experience in construction, foundation/pad work, water management, air sealing, plumbing, hvac, construction project management, remodeling and flipping homes.
He is always furthering his education of building science, new product developments, and installation techniques. Jordan's passion for building better to improve the living conditions, experience, and health of the people who are in these buildings led him to pursue a Passive House Builder Certification.
KC White
Construction Manager
KC White wears many hats for Caprock, assisting project managers with on-the-job training, helping the team work through tough patches that may come up, and providing support as needed. He also works as a project manager and does whatever it takes to see a project to completion—no matter how small or large the task is.
KC attended the Project Management institute at Perdue University. He loves the freedom of working with a variety of customers and the ability to be creative when it comes to problem solving in the field. The work doesn’t feel like work to him, even when he’s up to his elbows in tasks.
KC was a machine gunner for the Marine Corps with 2 combat deployments to Ar Ramadi, Iraq. When he’s not juggling work (or juggling bowling pins), you’ll find him working out, fishing, and spending as much time with his family and young children as possible.
Mark Gilbreath
Founder/Manager
Mark’s main job with Caprock is to ensure we have the proper resources, team, and oversight for our project managers. He ensures we pursue the right projects with the right customers— projects that we can truly help succeed.
Mark’s favorite part of the job is helping develop young talent. There’s no feeling like watching someone grow into a confident leader. He loves everything about buildings—designing them, building them, even maintaining them. He’s passionate about architecture and history and how we got where we are today.
Mark served with the US Army in Operation Desert Shield / Storm. Outside of work, he’s a big reader. He enjoys hunting birds and spend time with my family.
